The larger washing machines will handle comforters, sleeping bags, bed spreads, etc.  Do not leave the premises when drying these items in the dryers.  Check the dryer every 4-5 minutes, fluffing them up and checking for overheating.  Use low or medium heat only.

NOTE:  All front load washers use less water and less soap than the top load washers and are a better $ value for you.  (Do NOT use too much soap.)  They will do a better job of washing and be gentler on your clothes than the top load machines.  They "HOLD MORE, CLEAN BETTER, COST LESS!".

a.        Top Load washers use 1/3-1/2 cup soap

b.       Front load (double load) washers use on 1/2 cup or less of soap

c.        Front load (triple load) washers use 1/3 cup of soap

d.       Front load (big 50# + ) washers use 1/4 cup soap

e.        If you use too much soap your clothes will not get clean, will have soap left in them, will not rinse well and may not drain the machine leaving your clothes soaked.  Always use less soap!!!

f.        If you find you have too much soap suds… pour in some liquid Downy immediately.  This will kill the soap suds but not hurt your wash.
